| | Did I smile at my children enough? | | Last night I was at a Special Olympics dance. I saw a mom, confined to a Mobility Scooter, good upper body movement, beautiful smile. (maybe has MS). Her whole family was there. Her little girl, about 7 years old was wearing orthotic braces on her ankles. The DJ played lots of favorites,and they played one that both mom and daughter knew. That mom smiled beautifully as she watched her little girl singing and dancing, and at just that moment I wondered if I had ever smiled so beautifully at my kids. I loved them, still do, but do they remember me smiling and enjoying their company? Do you smile and enjoy your kids enough? | |
